College management software built around programmes, not classrooms.
A college is not a big school. It has departments and programmes, batches that run for years, faculty who teach across departments, and students who are adults with their own sign-in. SOL Assists lets the college name its own structure, from campus to programme to batch, and runs admissions, attendance, assessments and fees on it.
What a college usually puts up with.
- Attendance percentages worked out by hand before every internal
- Department records that disagree with the office's
- Fee dues that surface only at exam-form time
- Faculty substitutions arranged by phone
What SOL Assists does for a college.
Each item below is a screen in the app today, not a roadmap.
Your structure: campus, department, programme, batch
The academic structure is yours to name: campuses, programmes or departments, and the batches and sections inside them, at the levels your college uses. Every other module reads the same structure, so the register, the timetable and the reports cannot disagree. A group that runs several colleges manages them from one account with each college's data kept separate.
- Levels and names in your own vocabulary
- Several colleges under one group
- Each college's data kept apart
Admissions and student records
Applications are reviewed, decided, allocated to a programme and enrolled, and enrolment creates the student record. Records keep their history through promotions to the next year, transfers and withdrawals, with documents attached and enrolment numbers assigned from your pattern.
- Application to enrolment in one flow
- Promotion to the next year kept as history
- Bulk import of students and guardians
Attendance per subject and session
Attendance is marked per period and subject by the faculty taking it, or recorded by face-recognition devices at the gate. Reports show attendance by batch and date range, ready for the shortage lists colleges keep before internals, and export to CSV.
- Per-period marking by the faculty member
- Attendance by batch and date range
- CSV export
Internal assessments and results
Internal exams and papers are set up per batch and subject, faculty enter marks while the exam is open, every revision keeps who made it, and grade bands turn marks into grades. Results are published to students in the app the moment the college decides, and a student's progress is visible session by session.
- Marks with a revision history
- Grade bands the college defines
- Progress across sessions
Fees for programmes and semesters
Fee structures per programme and term, bills raised to students or their guardians, part payments, numbered receipts, concessions and reversals, and a live list of who still owes what. Students see their bills and receipts in the app.
- Structures per programme and term
- Part payments and concessions
- Dues visible before exam time
Faculty, timetable and leave
Faculty are assigned to the batches and subjects they teach. The timetable names a faculty, room or batch clash before it is saved. Leave is applied for in the app, the affected sessions are listed, and cover is arranged or the session cancelled, with the students told.
- Teaching assignments across departments
- Clashes caught before saving
- Leave with cover arranged

Questions colleges ask us.
Is SOL Assists a college ERP or a school product?
Both, because the structure is yours to define. A college sets up campuses, departments, programmes and batches; a school sets up classes and sections. Admissions, attendance, assessments, fees, faculty leave and the student app then run on whatever you defined.
Does it handle attendance percentage and shortage?
Attendance is marked per period and subject, and reports show attendance by batch and date range with CSV export, which is what a college needs to prepare shortage lists. A fixed percentage threshold with automatic detention lists is not built in yet.
Can one account run several colleges?
Yes. A group or trust runs several institutions from one organization, with one management view across them and each college's data, branding and numbering kept separate.
Do students sign in themselves?
Yes. Students have their own account with their timetable, attendance, results, study material, fee bills and receipts. Guardians can be linked as well where the college wants them informed.
Does it connect to the university's examination system?
No. SOL Assists runs the college's own internal assessments and records; university examinations stay with the university.
Your students' data, kept safe.
Student records hold children's details, family contacts and ID documents. This is how we protect them. We do not claim certifications we have not earned.
- People see only what their role allows
- Each institution's data kept separate
- A record of every important change
- Documents shared by short-lived links
- Aadhaar numbers stored encrypted
- Accounts by invitation, never shared passwords
